To say I was shocked to learn that I needed a heart operation would be an understatement. I was hoping of nothing more than antibiotics for a chest infection right up until the results of my angiogram.
My first contact with Mr. Birdi was on the telephone and his quiet confidence made me realize this was something I could get through. From that telephone call through pre operation to my recovery I never doubted that the outcome would be successful. The confidence of Mr. Birdi and his team was infectious and I felt my recovery was just a matter of time.
The care and professionalism of Mr. Birdi and his team was exceptional and I can’t think of a single thing that could have been done better. The expertise of Mr. Birdi has given me back my life and for that, my family and I will be forever grateful.
The psychological experience of major heart surgery cannot be underestimated and 8 months later back to full fitness I still find the memories of the operation and recuperation very emotional.
